In June 2023, we had the privilege of presenting our innovative new material directly to the senior executives of Woolmark. The refined sheen and luxurious texture of IST PLATINUMWOOL drew their attention, sparking genuine interest and curiosity. They expressed high praise for the exceptional techniques behind its processing, recognizing it as a significant advancement in enhancing the material’s potential. Their thoughtful feedback left us inspired and confident about the exciting future possibilities this material holds.

Following our dialogue with the Woolmark executives, we were fortunate to visit sheep farms and Woolmark Company’s facilities in Australia. The sheer vastness of the Australian landscape was awe-inspiring. Even our accompanying advisor, Riccardo Lami, expressed his excitement about the visit. Experiencing the journey of wool, from nature to sustainable craftsmanship, was truly inspiring. This visit deepened our connection to their vision and values, strengthening our respect for their dedication to this remarkable fiber.

We were thrilled to invite them to Japan after they expressed interest in learning how our technology unlocks the potential of materials. At our factory, they witnessed the Platinum processing method firsthand, while we shared stories of the challenges we faced and the joy of achieving breakthroughs. This innovative process ensures high quality, sustainability, and a stable supply. The visit offered a valuable opportunity to deepen our shared appreciation for wool’s untapped potential.

By sharing our visions and aspirations, we deepened our mutual understanding. Our next step was unveiling the IST PLATINUMWOOL global debut. After many discussions with Woolmark and our partners, we chose July 2024 for the launch in Milan, the heart of fashion.
